retain the image with a concrete mask
I better watch my mouth when they come and ask
yeah it’s time again for me to pass
running around with a bounty on my head
it’s getting harder to escape
i don’t think anyone relates
time again to understand
that i am cutting off deadweight
everybody lies
crowned a witness, scraped my eyes
wash away the bitter taste of scapegoat innocence
find a way to fucking cope with it
a pattern in the snow, and i‘m alone with it finally
finding truth in every gear of this machinery
blame, take it away
blaaaaame, paralyzing
the weight that i can feel, their eyes on me
heavy bones repel the flesh; the price of being free
pay up
everybody lies
crowned a witness, scraped my eyes
wash away the bitter taste of scapegoat innocence
lingering in my fate
I will never break
treacherous, what are you hiding from the rest of us?
i will never lay down arms
i will never scorn my fate
everybody lies
There is just no way to properly describe the journey that this album provides, with its enormous riffs, varied sound throughout and the raw emotion of it all. A rare perfect album... Agent Echo
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
This album manages to mix pure brutality, emotional melodies, addicting riffs, and brilliant lyrics all together, and it works in the most beautiful way. razorfish123
