is there something more?
is there something more beyond what I can see?
stay with me through this, stay with me
a terror that lives and breathes, a whisper behind my teeth
those who mean the most have turned their back on me
but this time I‘m not taking the blame
a devil on a chain bearing control over me
reality is slipping away
why don’t you feel the same?
haunting, sew my eyes and stitch them shut
drowning, there’s no hand to pull me up
you are the gift that keeps on giving
i am the burden that keeps on living
a ghost condemned to give in
i feel a part of me is missing
i can’t relate anymore, suffering behind closed doors
everything revolves around the fact i’m not the person that i used to be
giving it up to let the silent speak; this is another half of me
pulling my strings, awake in my sleep
is this all a dream?
the terror that lives and breathes
the whisper behind my teeth
let me sleep, let me sleep
the sour taste of you still lays underneath
my tongue spoils a pure, perfect taste of what it used to be
you are the gift that keeps on giving
i am the burden that keeps on living
a ghost condemned to give in
i feel a part of me is missing
is there something more?
is there something more beyond what I can see?
stay with me through this, stay with me
There is just no way to properly describe the journey that this album provides, with its enormous riffs, varied sound throughout and the raw emotion of it all. A rare perfect album... Agent Echo
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74
This album manages to mix pure brutality, emotional melodies, addicting riffs, and brilliant lyrics all together, and it works in the most beautiful way. razorfish123
