Buried in my bones
Heart made out of stone
Wish that I could leave behind
The pain I felt so long
In the dead of night
I set it all on fire
Watch it burn to ashes
Hear the angels call my name
What if I could bleed
What if I could feel
Once again I find myself
In a world so unreal
What if I could heal
And separate what’s real
Tell me how to save myself
From the misery in me
Something’s burning on the inside
The fire is all I see
I have died a thousand times
A slave to my own mind
Arrows in the dark
Everything falls apart
Wish that I could undo all the
Damage that I’ve done
Fear is taking hold
Leave my heart alone
I always seem to find myself
Caught in the unknown
What if I could bleed
What if I could feel
Once again I find myself
In a world so unreal
What if I could heal
And separate what’s real
Tell me how to save myself
From the misery in me
Something’s burning on the inside
The fire is all I see
I have died a thousand times
A slave to my own mind
Fear is taking hold
Leave my heart alone
What if I have come too far
To the point of no return
Something’s burning on the inside
The fire is all I see
I have died a thousand times
A slave to my own mind
This album manages to mix pure brutality, emotional melodies, addicting riffs, and brilliant lyrics all together, and it works in the most beautiful way. razorfish123
This might be the band that displaces Metallica as my favorite heavy metal band! It's heavy and has social commentary, which are my two favorite things in music. flannel_bear
One of the only bands whose beat blasts through your headphone and still sounds melodic. What an album!
And there's more but I'll leave you to it! QuarkStorm
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
